Bacoo

Years ago, we used to hear and read of accounts of bacoos (poltergeists) in Guyana. It would take days before the residents would ever return to their homes and streams of schoolchildren would make it their business to pass by and observe the house from a safe distance. Have bacoos disappeared because we have become relatively more sophisticated?
