GABA President and VP of the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation hands over basketball to the St Stanislaus College female Captain donated by the GABF. The GABF is currently conducting home and away games for selected schools in the city. Saints defeated Bishops High School in OT 48 to 44 in front of great school support.
The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) bounced off a Schools Exchange Basketball Programme in October as part of the beginning of a pilot project that initially included four teams: President’s College, St. Rose’s High, Bishops’ High School and St. Stanislaus College.
“The choice of schools for the commencement of the games was determined by the performance ranking of the school and whether the school has a basketball court,” the GABF said in a press release.
