MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE FROM THE PSC ON THE PASSING OF HIS LORDSHIP RANDOLPH GEORGE, FORMER ANGLICAN BISHOP OF GUYANA.
The Chairman, Executives and Council of the Private Sector Commission are deeply saddened at the passing of The Right Reverend (retired) Bishop Randolph George. Bishop George was the very embodiment of his creed of service to others. In his case, his dedication extended into service of the nation which he embraced with his characteristic humility.
Bishop George worked closely with the Private Sector Commission in the early years of the Commission’s existence and, particularly, while he headed the Integrity Commission. He was a strong proponent of democracy who lived his beliefs. Bishop George will indeed be missed by the nation he served.
The Private Sector Commission wishes to extend heartfelt sympathy to the wife and children of the late Bishop Randolph George and to the entire Anglican community.
