Following closely on the heels of the St. Stanislaus’ College Association Easter Week activities, celebrations for the school’s 150th anniversary year continue with a number of initiatives aimed at reuniting alumni, fundraising and building the future of current students.
Guyana will be celebrating 50 years of independence in May 2016 while the school celebrates 150 years of creating productive citizens under the theme ‘Celebrating our history, building our future’.
The upcoming events are as follows:
May 1 Mass at Brickdam Cathedral 9:00hrs

Week of May 2-6 June Public Lecture on Education Date and time
Apart from these initiatives, the SSCA wants to organize events that will benefit students, parents and teachers, such as Career Days and seminars on life skills and parenting. Meetings will be held with the PTA, School Board and other stakeholders to confirm the needs of the beneficiaries and timelines for events to get maximum participation and strong results.
