St. Stanislaus College, Guyana Reunion 2016

The executive members of the St. Stanislaus College Alumni Association (Guyana)
would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for our 150th Anniversary reunion in Georgetown, Guyana from March 26 to April 3rd, 2016.

Registration Fee

There are two types for the Easter Reunion Registration

Gold - US$100.00

Silver – US$75.00

A special rate will be offered to staff and alumni who have left the school within the last 5 years. Please use the conversion rate of CDN$1.45 to US$1.00.  Payments will be collected in Guyana.

All registrants will be entitled to receiving keepsake memorabilia, inclusive of one One50@50 Commemorative Magazine. Additional Magazines may be obtained. Bounty Farm and the Theatre Guild have a limit on the number of persons that can be accommodated. It would be important therefore to pre-register prior to the reunion, and certainly by February 29, 2016.

Gold Registrants will be entitled to complimentary entry to all events i.e.,

1.      Welcome reception (non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks) - Saturday March 26th

2.      Easter Sunday Bounty Farm Picnic & Lime -  transportation to/from site plus drinks and meals. This venue has limited accommodation – and we will be issuing tickets, on a first come first served basis. If oversubscribed, participants will be offered a refund of US$30.00. Once registered the overseas alumni, all steps must be taken to guarantee admission to the Bounty Picnic and all other events. However to be able to do this, we do need to have participants pre-register, so that we can reserve tickets.

3.      Easter Monday Kite Flying @ Saints Ground - BBQ Lunch. There will be a cash bar (not included in the registration fee)

4.      Tuesday March 29^th Georgetown Heritage City Tour -  transportation to/from central point. Each tour can accommodate 20 persons. Multiple tours will be organized. Participants will have to sign up at the welcome reception.

5.    Friday April 1^st Cultural Show @ the Theatre Guild. This venue has limited accommodation – and we will be issuing tickets, on a first come first served basis. 6.      Saturday April 2^nd, Dinner & Dance @ ParcRayne – Dinner. We will offer separate tickets at US $50.00. for those who only want to attend the event and nothing else. There will be a cash bar (not included in the registration fee).http://www.parcrayne.com/gallery.html

Silver Registrants will be entitled to all the above EXCEPT for Item No. 6.

Please let me know if you have any further questions at this time. You will be receiving regular updates and we also would appreciate if you can identify individuals who can be your point of contact for (1) flights to/from Guyana, (2) logistics, especially as it relates to those persons staying in hotels, (3) magazine, (4) Cultural Show.

We want to know as soon as is convenient the provisional number of attendees, and numbers who will need to be put up at a hotel. We are on standby to work with you to get group discounts once we have numbers and dates of travel.

  The Pegasus has agreed to reserve 20 rooms initially charging rates of (1) Double occupancy US $ 130.oo per night plus VAT of 16 %.  Buffet breakfast can be included at $ 20.00 per room, (2) Triple occupancy  US $ 140.00 per night plus VAT of 16%.  Buffet breakfast can be included at $ 30.00 per room.

1.       Commencement Anniversary Day Sunday, May 1, 2016 Church Service  Brickdam Cathedral        

2.       Saturday May 21, 2015 - Guyana Independence Lime and Day of Sports Competition between Houses

3.       Thursday May 26, 2015  Guyana Independence Anniversary Celebrations

For those attending the 150th anniversary reunion Easter events, please fill one form per person so we can establish tentative numbers to enable package deals, group rates, facilitate logistical decisions, and so on.
