Presentation to New Ministers at Saints

A number of books on Rupununi Rediscovering a Lost World were presented to the new Minister of Education, Dr. Rupert Roopnarine and the Minister of Indigenous Peoples Affairs, Mr. Sydney Alicock at St. Stanislaus College in observance of World Environment Day, Friday June 6th, 2015. The presentation was organised by Dr. David Singh, Head Conservation International (Guyana) in collaboration with Mr. Chris Fernandes, Chairman of the St. Stanislaus College Board of Governors.Also present were Minister of Tourism, Mrs Cathy Hughes, and Mrs Valarie Garrido-Lowe, Minister within the Ministry of Indigenous People’s Affairs..The book was written by Dr. Graham Watkins, Pete Oxford, and Renen Bish.
